A Texas LLC costs $300 to form with the Texas Secretary of State. Texas charges no annual report fee, and an LLC with annualized total revenue at or below $2,650,000 owes no franchise tax for reports due in 2026 and 2027. Every Texas LLC must still file a Public Information Report or Ownership Information Report with the Texas Comptroller by 15 May each year, and a late report costs $50. For most small LLCs the total state cost is $300 in year one and $0 a year after that.
