Whichever option you use, the next page will give you any relevant hits. In addition to the name of the business, you’ll see prior name matches, statuses, compliance holds, filing dates, types, NV business IDs, entity numbers, mark numbers, and actions.
Bring up more information by clicking on a specific company name. The following page will show you things like the registered agent’s name, status, type, and addresses (street and mailing).
Turn to Google
If your State of Nevada business entity search didn’t turn up with anything, don’t stop just yet. You want to be extra sure that no one has taken your desired business name, so you’ll also want to do a Nevada business search by using Google.
In the search bar, put in your future business name with “Nevada.” You can also include a city name if it’s relevant.
