Disclosure: BusinessAnywhere sells LLC formation, so it competes with every provider on this list. We put our own service first only where the numbers support it, and we show where competitors cost less. Competitor prices come from each provider’s own pricing pages as of October 2026.
An LLC formation service files your articles of organization with the state, acts as your registered agent and handles setup tasks such as the EIN and operating agreement. The state fee is the same whichever service you use. What differs is the service fee, the agent renewal, what is bundled and what you are signed up for after the first year.
How We Compared LLC Formation Services
- Two-year cost: the formation fee, state fee and registered agent for a Wyoming LLC in year one and each year after. Wyoming charges $100 to form and $60 a year for the annual report, per our breakdown of Wyoming LLC costs.
- Registered agent renewal: the price you pay every year once the free year ends.
- EIN handling: the price, and whether the service files for owners without a Social Security number.
- Speed: the provider’s stated processing time, before the state’s own processing time.
- Pricing transparency and terms: published prices, auto-renewing add-ons and minimum commitments.
- Fit: who each service is built for: US residents, non-US founders or venture-backed startups.
