Connecticut’s certificate of good standing is called a Certificate of Legal Existence, and the Connecticut Secretary of the State issues it. Sign in to your Business.CT.gov account to order online, or mail paper form CXC-1-1.0. An express certificate costs $50 for LLCs and corporations. A short form costs $50 for an LLC and $80 for a corporation. Paper requests take 3 to 5 business days. Your annual report must be current.

The Arkansas Secretary of State, Business and Commercial Services Division, issues the Arkansas Certificate of Good Standing. The certificate costs $25. Ordered online through the Secretary of State’s good standing service, it adds a $3.00 processing fee and a 4% card transaction fee (minimum $1.00), and you can print it immediately. You can also order by mail or in person with the Records Request Form. Paying the annual franchise tax on time keeps you eligible.

The Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC), Corporations Division, issues the Arizona Certificate of Good Standing. You order it online in the Arizona Business Center by searching your entity and selecting the certificate. Regular processing costs $10 and takes 7 to 10 business days. Adding the optional $35 expedite fee, for $45 total, produces the certificate instantly. Each certificate carries a QR code that anyone can scan to verify it in the Arizona Business Center.

In Alabama, the good standing certificate is the Certificate of Compliance issued by the Alabama Department of Revenue (ALDOR). You request it online through the ALDOR Certificate of Compliance portal and pay $14, which is a $10 certificate fee plus a $4 processing fee. ALDOR reviews each request by hand, processes most requests in 3 to 5 business days and emails the certificate. It is issued only when all required returns are filed and taxes paid.

In Alaska, the certificate of good standing is called a Certificate of Compliance, and the Division of Corporations, Business and Professional Licensing issues it. You order it online through the Corporations Section and pay $10 by Visa or Mastercard, then print it immediately. You can also mail the Copy Request Form with the same $10 fee and receive the certificate 10 to 15 business days after the Division receives it.
